Let’s aim for a Startup-Driven Czechia: Politicians Commit to Changes That Will Strengthen Startups and Investors in Pre-Election Debate

More than 120 representatives of the startup ecosystem gathered on Thursday, July 24, at the Prague business hub Opero to discuss with representatives of six political parties how to transform the economy and turn Czechia into a startup powerhouse – and over 1,000 people followed the live stream. The event, which for the first time in Czechia enabled direct dialogue between politicians and startup representatives, was initiated by four key ecosystem organizations: the Czech Startup Association (the official voice of startups in dialogue with the Czech government and Parliament), Czech Founders (a nonprofit bringing together over a thousand Czech startup founders), Startup Kitchen (a Central European media and events platform), and CzechInvest (the state agency for business development).
