E-commerce marketplaces now account for more than 60% of European e-commerce GMV, and 67% of sellers are active on at least four of them. Success in each marketplace requires thousands of micro-decisions about which prices to tweak, which discount campaigns to join, and which products to promote, all while adhering to margin constraints. Human teams can’t keep up, lagging days behind on prices and spending an average of 36% of their working week on manual tasks. Constrained by limited headcount and resources, sellers often abandon these efforts altogether and wait passively for their listings to sell. Others pay agencies or hire in-house teams that still fall behind.
“Most sellers are stuck in the same place. Their marketplace channel works at some level, but scaling it means thousands of decisions a day across pricing, campaigns, and promotions that no team can manage manually. Larger companies with more resources win, every time. Merchantee’s agentic intelligence levels the playing field, working as a marketplace expert across thousands of products at once. Merchantee’s team are the first to build natively for European marketplaces, executing the full loop and giving sellers the kind of opportunity that used to be available only to the largest players.”
Jakub Vraspír, Founder & CEO of Merchantee
Merchantee replaces the half-measures most sellers rely on today. Some use tools that monitor their marketplaces but can’t respond to the collected data. Others use tools that automatically adjust prices, but only by following fixed rules, so they can’t react to a competitor’s move or an unexpected demand shift. Merchantee does both, then acts: it sees the full picture, makes the decision, and executes in real time, all within the budget and margin rules the seller sets. That frees in-house teams and agencies to focus on strategy and creative work.
"We invested in Merchantee back when the product was still more of a concept. That’s why we focused primarily on the team and on Jakub as the founder. Essentially, we invested in him. And it has paid off. I believe that in the pre-seed stage, it is often more important to recognize a good team than a good product."

Merchantee operates at the SKU level across every supported marketplace, consolidating catalogue, pricing, and campaign data into one view. From there, it reprices every 30 to 60 minutes, nominates products for marketplace campaigns, and segments catalogues into top performers, emerging contenders, and dead stock. Every action is traceable and explainable.
The latest funding will support new marketplace integrations and European expansion, starting with Poland and Germany in 2026, followed by France, the Netherlands, and Italy in 2027. Planned integration with eMag, BOL, and C-Discount in 2026 will bring the number of supported marketplaces to five. It will also accelerate the development of Layer 4, where the AI agent autonomously decides between execution strategies such as issuing a discount or paying for additional visibility, based on seller goals across channels.
“Jakub spent years inside the European marketplace world. He helped launch Mall.cz, the first marketplace in Czechia and Slovakia, now owned by the Allegro Group. Few founders in this category have such extensive operational depth, and even fewer have turned it into infrastructure that brands like Philips, Lindt, and SodaStream now rely on every day.”

Longer-term, Merchantee is building toward agent-to-agent commerce, where AI agents on the seller side communicate directly with Merchantee’s infrastructure to execute strategy, gradually removing the manual layer from the loop.
“Merchantee identified a major pain point for ecommerce sellers in Europe, and then designed something completely unique to answer it. They understand how European ecommerce works and where it’s going, and their successful balancing of an ambitious expansion strategy and continuous profitability makes us excited about their future.”
