New Marketplace add-on brings Ajelix’s agentic AI functionality into Google Workspace, helping business users create spreadsheets, documents, presentations, and forms without switching tools.

Ajelix, an agentic AI workspace serving over 320,000 business users globally, today announced the launch of AI Agent for Work, an add-on available through the Google Workspace Marketplace. The product brings Ajelix directly into Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Forms, giving users a native sidebar experience for completing work inside the tools they already use.

The launch supports Ajelix’s focus on helping professionals turn a prompt into a finished business output more efficiently. Users no longer have to switch between applications to use Ajelix. Instead of working in a separate AI chat window and moving information back and forth, they can open the Ajelix panel directly inside Google Workspace and ask the agent to help create documents in the same place where the work is already happening.

With minimal direct competition in this space, Ajelix’s Google Workspace agent distinguishes itself with its broader AI workspace capabilities, including support for up to 10 GB of uploaded file storage across various file types. Uploaded files can be integrated with the AI agent, enabling users to turn source materials into complete business deliverables such as dashboards, spreadsheets, documents, presentations, web-based tools, and visual assets.

“Business users do not need another place to ask questions; they need work completed in the tools where their work already happens. With AI Agent for Work in Google Workspace, our goal is to help users turn a prompt into a usable spreadsheet, report, presentation, or form without rebuilding the same context across multiple tools.”

Ajelix began in 2022 as a spreadsheet-focused AI tool built by Latvian founders Agnese Jaunošāne and Artūrs Jaunošāns to help users work faster with formulas, data, and spreadsheet tasks. Since then, the company has bootstrapped its growth, evolving into a comprehensive AI workspace. Ajelix is built on open-source AI models, ensuring transparency and user control, as well as data encryption and full GDPR compliance.

"Being bootstrapped forced us to listen obsessively to users. Every feature exists because users explicitly requested it. With the Google Workspace add-on, we're removing the last barrier – the need to switch between tools.”

Available immediately in the Google Workspace Marketplace of add-ons, the AI Agent for Work is built on the same Ajelix subscription users already know, extending the company’s agentic AI capabilities directly into the Google productivity ecosystem. Setup requires an Ajelix account and an API key, making onboarding straightforward for individuals and teams.
