Laureen Höllge, co-founder of the startup Mamio and former COO of Direct Fondee, has been appointed the new CEO of Direct Fondee.

Direct Fondee has a new CEO as of September. The role has been taken over by Laureen Höllge, co-founder of the startup Mamio and former Chief Operating Officer of Direct Fondee. The co-founders of this investment platform, Eva and Jan Hlavsa, remain part of the Direct Group. Within Direct Fondee, Eva will focus on further developing the platform, while Jan will join the investment arm of the Direct Group.

In her previous role as COO of Fondee, Laureen was behind a number of key projects – from entering the Slovak market to initiatives that promote financial literacy and engage more women in investing.

“Thank you for the trust – to the Fondee team and the entire Direct Group. I look forward to building on the solid foundations laid by Jan Hlavsa and Eva Hlavsová and taking Direct Fondee even further. Our ambitions are big – so stay tuned” said Laureen in her Linkedin post.

Before joining Direct Fondee, Laureen Höllge worked at the consulting firm Boston Consulting Group, led the non-profit organization Discover, and co-founded the startup Mamio. She studied at Yale-NUS College and the Central European University. In 2023, she was included in Forbes30 Under 30 list in the Business category.

Direct Fondee has been part of the Direct Group since 2023 and represents one of the pillars on which the group builds its long-term vision of creating services that make people’s lives easier. Direct Fondee currently has more than twenty thousand clients. Most of them are in the Czech Republic, but the company also serves clients in Slovakia and, to a smaller extent, in Poland.
