Adam, a startup digitizing the craft industry and making it easy for customers to book reliable tradespeople online, is announcing another expansion. Following a successful pilot in the Czech Republic, the company is now rolling out electrician and flooring services in Slovakia, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

“Our goal is to digitize the entire craft process, from demand to completion. And it’s proving to work. After a successful pilot, we decided to launch these services in three countries at once, as both customer demand and results clearly confirmed that our model is scalable,” says Jakub Dvořák, co-founder of the Adam platform.

Expanding to Slovakia is a natural next step for the company. “From the Czech market, we’ve always grown toward Slovakia. We share similar customer behavior, so it’s a logical first step when testing new services outside the Czech Republic,” explains Roman Sysel, co-founder of Adam.

Alongside Slovakia, Adam is also focusing on the United Kingdom and Ireland—two of the largest and most culturally distinct markets. “That’s exactly why they’re ideal for fine-tuning our model and verifying that our product truly works beyond Central Europe. If we succeed there, we know we can succeed anywhere,” adds Sysel.

Adam now offers four core services—painting, renovations, electrical work, and flooring—and operates across several European countries. The goal is to give customers a simple, fair, and fully online way to handle any home improvement.

The ordering process is fully digital: customers fill out a short form, know the price upfront, and can book a date in just a few clicks. “Through digitalization, we’re bringing transparency to a field where it has long been missing—both for customers and for tradespeople, who gain more jobs and fairer conditions thanks to our platform,” adds Dvořák.

Adam is currently one of the fastest-growing craft service platforms in Europe and continues to expand. Founded in 2020 in the Czech Republic, the company has become a strong player in the European market.
