Panel discussion
What happens when a seasoned founder with decades of experience shares the stage with a Gen Z entrepreneur? At our final TRUESDAYS of 2024, we found out. The panel dove into how our views on work have evolved over the past 25 years, tackling everything from job hopping and employee benefits to hybrid work models, work-life balance, and the looming influence of AI. We asked whether we’ll return to the office or continue embracing remote and hybrid setups, and we considered what benefits will soon be standard rather than perks.
Moderated by 💎 Filip Mikschik, CEO StartupJobs & 💎 Barbora Kebzová, Marketing Manager StartupJobs, the discussion featured two distinct, yet surprisingly aligned perspectives:
Speakers:
- 💎 Kamila Zahradníčková, CEO of Lakmoos AI,
- 💎 Petr Kováčik, a serial startup entrepreneur with over 24 years of experience in the business,
Although they came from different generations and backgrounds, both concluded that the core desires in the workplace haven’t changed as much as we think. It’s normal to switch jobs if you’re no longer growing, to expect flexibility and room for personal life, and to believe your generation faces unique challenges—even if history often repeats itself.
If you were there, you heard how the future of work isn’t just about new tools or trends; it’s also about understanding that each generation brings its own voice to the conversation. And as we head toward 2030, staying adaptable, open-minded, and ready to learn might be the most important “benefit” of all.
