Czech startup grid.online is transforming parcel transportation by introducing a shared courier network, attracting a €1.5 million investment to scale its solution. The investment comes from Reflex Capital (€1m), J&T Ventures (€0.25m), and Grid Invest (€0.25m).

Companies can instantly purchase delivery capacity via API integration—just like they buy cloud computing resources. Couriers, connected through the startup’s mobile app, benefit from their earning’s increase, while businesses optimize costs while utilizing their existing logistics infrastructure on a larger scale. “We operate as a logistics cloud—companies connect, and whenever they need to transport parcels, they tap into the available courier capacity in our shared transport network. This reduces their costs while couriers earn up to a third more than the market average,” says Ondřej Krátký, co-founder and CEO of grid.online.

“We will use this investment to strengthen our team and enhance our technological infrastructure, ensuring we keep pace with growing demand while further simplifying courier onboarding,” says Patrik Raš, co-founder and CFO. The investment will support:

  • Hiring multiplatform mobile app developers, DevOps engineers, and automation specialists.
  • Increasing the attractiveness of the platform for couriers and simplifying their onboarding.
  • Improving efficiency and scaling operations to handle a growing volume of deliveries.

“Reflex Capital has deep expertise in logistics, especially in e-commerce. We believe in grid.online’s vision and are backing a strong founding team,” comments Ondřej Fryc, Managing Partner at Reflex Capital.

Grid.online demonstrates that the future of logistics lies in sharing transportation infrastructure rather than just in specialization. Just as the cloud transformed IT, grid.online is reshaping parcel transportation. With this investment, the startup aims to meet the growing demand from both clients and couriers.

Grid.online s.r.o. was founded in 2024 as a spin-off from the Czech mobility app Liftago and part of its team. Unlike Liftago, which focuses on end-customer services, grid.online is dedicated exclusively to providing digital transport infrastructure for corporate clients. The company does not target individual consumers. The founders of grid.online are Ondřej Krátký and Patrik Raš. Ondřej was one of the co-founders of Liftago and served as its CEO from 2017 to 2023. Patrik Raš, formerly CFO of Liftago, has an extensive background in finance and the startup ecosystem.

Current shareholders of grid.online s.r.o. include: Ondřej Krátký, new investors (Reflex Capital, J&T Ventures, Grid Invest), and those shareholders whose shares originated in the spin-off process from Liftago: Martin Hausenblas, Juraj Atlas (Liftago co-founders), and Martin Vohánka.
