Helio AI, the US-based AI-powered recruiting platform built by a Georgian team for high-volume and frontline hiring, has secured a $1M seed round, joined by DOMiNO Ventures, Tetrad VC, Axiom, and SABAH.fund. The new funding will be used to scale Helio’s AI Recruiting Agent globally, expand product capabilities, and transform how companies hire in fast-growing markets.
Helio AI combines an intelligent recruiting agent, able to chat, think, and act in local languages with game-based psychometric tests. The platform automates up to 70% of recruiter tasks, instantly ranks top candidates, and improves the accuracy and speed of hiring for companies with large applicant volumes.

The company previously raised $350K in pre-seed funding from Teimuraz Jashi, Georgian Business Angel Network – Axel, and 500 Eurasia. This early support helped Helio build its core AI technology and achieve traction with hundreds of international brands across 7 countries.

We’re thankful for the continued trust of our early investors and excited to welcome new ones. We choose partners who share our culture and way of working because synergy matters when you’re building something big. This round marks an important step in scaling Helio globally and amplifying the impact we’re already creating,” said Iako Jikia, Co-founder & CEO of Helio AI.

Mustafa Kopuk, Managing Partner at DOMiNO Ventures, said: “Over the past 1.5 years, we’ve had the opportunity to closely follow Helio AI’s progress, and during this period, the team’s consistent execution, clear sense of direction, and ability to rapidly turn challenges into solutions have given us strong confidence. What stands out in Helio’s approach is not only their ability to address critical market needs, but also their commitment to building a sustainable and scalable structure at every stage of their journey. We believe these qualities form the foundation of companies that create meaningful global impact, and we are confident that Helio is moving forward on this path with determination and clarity.”

DOMiNO Ventures Managing Partner Yagiz Karadeniz shared his views on the investment: “What impressed us about Helio AI was the immediate and measurable impact their product creates for companies. Employers adopting Helio are making faster and more accurate hiring decisions while significantly reducing manual workload. This level of customer validation, combined with the team’s ability to evolve the product based on real needs, gives us strong confidence in their global potential. We believe Helio is building a solution with long-lasting relevance in fast-growing markets, and we are excited to support their next phase of growth.”
