Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital, a Luxembourg-based venture capital firm, has gone live on the fundcraft digital fund operations solution with its newly launched DefenceTech fund, focused on early-stage European innovation in the strategically critical defence sector.

In parallel, the firm has completed the migration of its existing Luxembourg fund structures to fundcraft, consolidating its AIFM and Central Administration operations on a single digital solution. The migration was completed in three months following fundcraft’s structured migration framework. This consolidation enables scalable, compliant execution and a more seamless investor experience for its 80+ LPs across all funds.

We don’t just invest in technology, we operate like a tech firm ourselves. Fundcraft’s digital platform, product-first approach, and strong service delivery are fully aligned with how we want to run our fund operations,” said Laurent Hengesch, Founding Partner at Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital. “We see fundcraft as a long-term strategic partner as we continue to scale and innovate across fund strategies.”

The partnership with Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital further reinforces our leadership in digital fund operations for Luxembourg-domiciled VC funds,” said Julien de Mayer, Founder and CEO of fundcraft. “We’re proud to provide the infrastructure that enables high-performing managers to scale their strategies, whether they are launching new funds or migrating away from legacy providers.”

Of the 220+ Luxembourg-domiciled funds currently operated on the fundcraft platform, more than 150 were successfully migrated from incumbent service providers. For fund managers weighed down by manual tasks, Excel-based reporting, and disconnected processes, fundcraft offers a proven and scalable path forward.

With offices in Luxembourg, Prague, Tallinn, and New York, IVC provides investors access to cutting-edge startups from both Europe and the U.S., developing technologies that enhance our collective security.

IVC just announced first two investment into Defencetech companies; 5.0 Roboticsan Estonian deep-tech company focused on agile manufacturing, and US-based Centinus, a drone operations platform, offers ultra-low-latency remote piloting, AI-powered object detection, and real-time HD livestreaming.

“At Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital, we have been investing in technology companies within the defence sector for several years. We have now launched a dedicated DefenceTech Fund because we believe that Europe faces an urgent and existential threat. We invest in defence technology companies that are crucial for the security of our civilization, fostering global stability and enabling societies to thrive in an environment of peace and safety” comments Laurent Hengesch.
