Jakub Vrbovský Becomes New Partner at investment vehicle ONE FAMILY OFFICE

Finance professional with many years of international experience has been promoted from the position of Senior Wealth Adviser. Before joining ONE FAMILY OFFICE, Jakub worked on the team of Jaroslav Havel and Marek Vojáček as part of their international wealth management practice.

He has been part of the HAVEL & PARTNERS group since 2021. He specializes in investment matters and private client advisory. Previously, he spent several years on the UHNWI (Ultra High Net Worth Individuals) team at Credit Suisse, focusing on special situations for the private bank’s most affluent global clients.

Among other responsibilities, Jakub oversees the development of ONE FAMILY OFFICE‘s relationships with Swiss and global private banks and Swiss family offices. This includes assessing exclusive investment opportunities and innovative wealth management models.

The exceptional knowledge of international (especially Swiss) private banking, built over more than 15 years by the professionals at ONE FAMILY OFFICE—along with the personal ties to key banks and bankers, including those in the Czech-Slovak region—is our unique advantage over local competitors,” adds Jaroslav Havel, founder and managing partner of ONE FAMILY OFFICE. Together with him, Jakub Vrbovský also manages the three largest asset portfolios at ONE FAMILY OFFICE and shares responsibility for their performance, including the portfolio of Jaroslav Havel.

Jakub is also involved in the investment agenda as an investment manager for the broader HAVEL & PARTNERS group. He focuses on sourcing and analytically evaluating investment opportunities in capital markets, private equity, venture capital, and emerging economic sectors. This includes both direct investments and investments through funds.

At the beginning of his career, Jakub worked in finance teams at several publicly traded financial and technology companies. After studying at the University of Zurich and ETH, he started his career at Credit Suisse. Among the transactions he worked on are the IPO of one of the world’s largest oil companies, a $1 billion pre-IPO private placement for an Asian AI unicorn, and the acquisition of a London property worth over half a billion pounds.
