fundcraft, Europe’s digital-native fund operations platform, today announced a strategic integration with Vestlane, the digital investor onboarding solution for private funds. The partnership combines the strengths of both platforms to deliver a fully embedded investor onboarding experience within fundcraft’s environment, creating a seamless and predictable journey for fund managers and investors who use both fundcraft and Vestlane.

The integration eliminates repetitive manual tasks and data duplication across systems, allowing fund managers and fundcraft’s service delivery experts to focus on higher-value work. Documents and investor data no longer need to be downloaded, uploaded, or copied between portals. Instead, investor profiles and related information on Vestlane are automatically synchronised within the fundcraft platform through a secure, real-time connection with Vestlane. This streamlined process ensures greater data accuracy, consistency, and speed across the entire investor onboarding workflow.

Ivo Schmiedt, Founder & CEO at Vestlane said: “We have worked closely with fundcraft for several years and share common clients and a common goal: to make fund administration faster, more digital, and investor-centric. With this integration, managers get a truly end-to-end digital setup, from investor onboarding and subscriptions to fund administration, tailored to the needs of modern venture capital and private equity firms.”

The integration reflects fundcraft’s broader vision: building an open operating system for fund administration, natively connecting best-of-breed tools across fund operations, from investor onboarding to payments, in one cohesive platform.

Olga Porro, Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer at fundcraft added: “Together with Vestlane we’re delivering a truly end-to-end experience for fund managers and their investors. The fundcraft open platform strategy is designed to give asset managers real flexibility, enabling them to integrate specialised solutions like Vestlane in a fully integrated and unified experience.”

The two companies already share several clients, including b2venture, Rosberg Ventures, Spheres, and Multiple Capital, who use both platforms as part of their fund operations. This integration is already live and is designed to simplify processes for those existing clients and to offer the same seamless experience to future managers adopting both solutions. Managers can now connect their Vestlane accounts within the fundcraft platform, synchronise data or documents for all existing and new investors at the click of a button, and manage investor information from a single platform. Future iterations will deepen the integration, enabling more data synchronisation and automation to further reduce operational workload.

Fabian Krüger, General Counsel & Compliance Officer at b2venture, added: “For us, the investor experience is at the core of fund management. LPs increasingly expect the same digital efficiency and transparency they see in other parts of their financial lives. We welcome this integration between fundcraft and Vestlane, which further simplifies our workflows and strengthens our ability to deliver the investor-centric experience our LPs expect, from onboarding to reporting.”
