Luxembourg fund Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital has acquired a stake in Galytix, a company specializing in generative artificial intelligence solutions for the banking and insurance sectors.

Galytix “GX” is a leading GenAI language model for the banking and insurance industry. It is fed by sector-specific data and knowledge and easily adaptable through ontology layers to reflect institution-specific rules and governance.

GX is designed for Credit and Insurance Claims Analysts to increase efficiency and accuracy in the treatment and handling of their tasks, increasing decision-making speed by an estimated 30% while reducing operating costs by an estimated 40%. The team, led by Co-Founder and CEO Raj Abrol, comprises 140 FTEs based in London, Prague, and India.

Among its flagship products is the GX platform, which covers the entire data lifecycle: from discovery to analysis, including process automation. This solution optimises the work of credit analysts and claims managers by “accelerating their decision-making processes by around 30% while reducing operational costs by around 40%.”

Galytix has also collaborated with major players in the financial sector, such as Société Générale, which uses its technology to improve the risk analysis of its investments. More recently, the company launched HealthX, a digital health platform based on generative AI, in partnership with Foyer Global Health, aimed at automating the underwriting and claims processes related to health insurance.
