mAI Edge, the European GenAI startup fixing the broken engine of creative ops, announced the first close of its Pre-Seed round, raising €155,000 from Gluon Syndicate. The raise includes 18 strategic angel investors backing the company’s mission to automate brand-consistent, publish-ready advertising, at scale.
mAI Edge replaces the fragmented, manual work behind daily brand communications, enabling international enterprises to instantly generate publish-ready images, videos, and copy across social media, digital, retail, and print channels.
“CMOs today have up to 32 content-hungry channels to feed, with leaner teams, tighter budgets, and outdated ad production methods. It’s no surprise that only 6% of global advertising is considered as effective. The technology to address that exists but it hasn’t been applied where it matters. We’re not building another AI tool. We’re fixing a system that’s been broken for too long. Advertising and creative ops are slow, fragmented, and built for a different era. mAI Edge fixes that, and this isn’t the future, this is overdue.” said Jérémie Bertolino, Founder & CEO.
mAI Edge is model-agnostic, packaging a semi-agentic engine in a web-based interface designed to automate campaign-ready advertising: fast, at scale, and always on-brand. Here lies mAI Edge’s core differentiator: on-brand fine-tuning, or, how to systematize the alignment of GenAI outputs to each brand’s visual codes, tone of voice, and campaign context.
When most of the industry chases model releases or rides the B2C AI hype, mAI Edge focuses on enterprises and where the real added value is: the application layer. In marketing communication that sits where the brand essence, the creative mechanics and the content production converge.
“We’ve closed €155K with support from Gluon Syndicate and a sharp network of strategic angels. Their early trust gave us the runway to prove what the platform can do and land first enterprise pilots. Now we’re raising the remaining €650K to scale what’s working, in a fast, lean, and enterprise-ready fashion” added Jérémie.
“Gluon Syndicate exists to back sharp, early-stage teams solving real problems with conviction. mAI Edge is exactly that: a focused, domain-native team building where GenAI meets real enterprise problems. We’re proud to support their ambition to build the marketing communication operating system for fast, scalable, brand-consistent ad production and become in the process the leanest €1B GenAI company in Europe.” said Patrik Janušek, Founding Partner of Gluon Syndicate.
His colleague and second Founding Partner of Gluon Syndicate, Alex Janušek added: “I’m pleased that nearly 20 angel investors have joined us in backing mAI, half of whom are making their first startup investment in this way. In doing so, we’re realizing our vision of redeploying successful entrepreneurs and drawing them more deeply into supporting early-stage startups. We launched Gluon just a few months ago, and this is already our third investment—proof of the need for a dedicated angel syndicate in our region. I’m confident we’ll continue this momentum in a few days at our third pitch event, which this time moves to Prague.”
mAI Edge was founded by a team of four with deep, complementary roots across creative operations, AI architecture, enterprise software, and product delivery: Jérémie Bertolino (CEO), Mathieu Zylberait (Product), Josef “Pepe” Duda (Platform), and Jevgenij Blagonravov (Sales & Ops). Having worked together for years, the team built the system they wish they had, and are scaling it with precision.
