A new startup, DeepScout, is entering the market and has been supported by the Miton group from the beginning. The group invested CZK 5 million in it before the product was launched, with an option for another CZK 10 million.

DeepScout is a technology-first startup redefining competitive intelligence with a focus on speed, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Using advanced AI, we provide businesses with actionable data to optimize pricing and product assortment for significantly less compared to traditional solutions. DeepScout makes data-driven decision-making accessible to businesses of all sizes, helping you stay ahead in a competitive market while keeping costs low.

“The platform is almost entirely automated using AI/ML and optimized for big data. Thanks to this, we are able to offer very good prices to customers of all sizes. In addition, DeepScout can handle several million products per customer. And this in all steps – from obtaining source data from the market to updating and versioning data, matching products, analyzing results, and recommending specific actions that the e-shop should take to improve its business,” describes the project founder Jan Mittner.

According to the Commercial Register, Miton holds a 33% stake in Algorama, which operates the service, while Mittner owns the remaining 67%. One of Miton’s partners, Tomáš Hodboď, former founder of the fashion price comparison site Glami, is in charge of the company on behalf of the group.

Mittner has built the startup Jízdomat, which was bought by BlaBlaCar in 2016, and the Proudly service, which was bought by Welcome to the Jungle in 2019.
