Czech project Nepanikař has won the re:Marc Grand Impact Award for 2026. The company, represented by Radka Novotná, beat 11 challengers from across Central and Eastern Europe in a competition that involved both pitching as well as providing a plan with how to spend the €20.000 prize money.
Nepanikař is a digital mental health platform that wants to make mental health support more accessible to people who need it most. Founded in 2019 by Veronika Kamenská, it was the first to offer free chat and email counseling in Czech, as well as offering ways to directly contact psychological caregivers throughout the Czech Republic.
Making a marc
The re:Marc event, which was held in Budapest, was the international final of the Marc Impact Programme, an accelerator which aims to boost financial readiness and social impact across the CEE. The event was the culmination of months of mentoring, workshops, and development support.
Sharing the podium with Nepanikař were Talent Lounge from Austria and Origin BCI from Romania, which won the Scalability Champion Award and Innovation Champion Award, respectively. Each prize is worth €15.000 and, like the Grand Impact Award, is meant to have a catalytic effect on the development of the business.
The Marc Impact Programme currently operates in six countries: Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, and Croatia. As many as 15 initiatives per country participated in the accelerator programme, receiving tailored mentoring and expert guidance.
