Founded in Warsaw, DevSkiller built its reputation as a leading platform for technical skill assessments, helping organizations evaluate candidates with precision and confidence.

Over the years, the company expanded its capabilities, enabling customers not only to hire effectively but also to build, measure, and develop skills across their entire workforce. As the world of work shifted toward skills-based models, DevSkiller recognized the need for a broader identity. The rebrand to SkillPanel marks this transformation, aligning the company’s brand with its vision of becoming the most comprehensive platform for skills visibility, insights, and action. “DevSkiller will always be a part of our history, but today our mission goes far beyond candidate assessments,” said Jakub Kubrynski, CEO of SkillPanel.

“SkillPanel represents our expanded focus: giving HR and L&D; leaders the intelligence they need to understand, grow, and mobilize skills across their organizations. This rebrand is about matching our identity to the reality of what we deliver.”

SkillPanel builds on DevSkiller’s core technology while introducing powerful capabilities designed for HR and L&D; leaders who want to transition to skills-based ways of working. These include:

  • Skills Intelligence: Gain a clear, real-time view of workforce skills through interactive mapping, hierarchical structures, and customizable skillsets.
  • 360° Skills Assessment: Combine self-evaluations, supervisor ratings, peer feedback, expert reviews, and automated technical assessments to create a holistic view of every employee’s skills.
  • Internal Mobility: Match people to opportunities based on skills, enabling dynamic career pathing, talent redeployment, and reduced turnover.
  • Development Activities Center: Centralize learning and development activities, from formal courses to mentoring, shadowing, and project participation, all tied directly to skills. With these expanded features, SkillPanel equips organizations to identify gaps, align learning, and future-proof their workforce.

The rebrand comes at a pivotal time for HR and L&D; leaders. Across industries, organizations are moving away from rigid job descriptions toward skills-based models that provide agility and resilience. Skills are now recognized as the currency of work, enabling companies to adapt quickly to changing demands and employees to pursue meaningful career growth.

According to recent industry studies, more than 90 percent of executives believe skills-based approaches are critical to the future of work. However, many organizations still lack the tools to measure, manage, and act on skills at scale. “SkillPanel addresses this gap,” said Kubrynski. “Our platform gives leaders the visibility and intelligence they need to make data-driven workforce decisions, connect skills to strategy, and ensure employees are equipped for the future. This is no longer optional. It is essential.”

The rebrand to SkillPanel is not only about a new name but also about a renewed commitment to shaping the future of skills intelligence. The company’s roadmap includes AI-driven predictions to anticipate future skills needs, advanced analytics to guide workforce planning, and new tools to help employees own their career development. “SkillPanel is about partnership,” added Kubrynski. “We are building the platform that HR and L&D; leaders need to thrive in the skills-driven economy. Our vision is a world where organizations and employees can see, grow, and activate skills with clarity and confidence.”

The transition from DevSkiller to SkillPanel will be seamless for customers. Existing accounts, integrations, and contracts remain unchanged. When users log in on September 29, 2025, they will see the new SkillPanel brand, but their workflows, data, and platform reliability will remain exactly as before.

What stays the same is the commitment to innovation and service. Customers will continue to work with the same teams, enjoy the same high standards of security and compliance, and access the same trusted features that made DevSkiller a market leader. What is new is a brand identity that more accurately represents the platform’s expanded scope and future roadmap.
