DRUID AI, a Romanian conversational AI company, is finalising a Series C funding round led by Cipio Partners, boosting its valuation and accelerating its expansion and innovation in AI-powered business communication solutions.

Romanian conversational AI company DRUID AI is finalising a €46M funding round, increasing its valuation to approximately €276M. This Series C investment, led by Cipio Partners, follows the firm’s previous backing of Fintech OS, another Romanian-founded tech success. The deal is expected to close by the end of April.

In today’s fast-paced business landscape, companies are seeking innovative ways to streamline communication and automate processes. DRUID AI addresses this need with its AI-powered virtual assistants, which seamlessly integrate with enterprise systems like CRM, ERP, and HR tools. By automating workflows and facilitating human-like interactions, the company aims to redefine business communication and operational efficiency.

DRUID AI’s financial growth reflects its leading position in AI-driven automation. In 2022, the company secured a €14M Series A round to expand its presence in Europe and North America. In 2023, DRUID AI raised €27.55M in a Series B round led by TQ Ventures, with participation from Smedvig Capital, Endeavor, and Verve Ventures. Long-time investors GapMinder, Hoxton Ventures, and Karma Ventures also reinvested.

Now, in 2025, the upcoming €46M Series C round, led by Cipio Partners, is set to accelerate DRUID AI’s expansion. Cipio Partners, a European investment firm known for backing high-growth tech companies, previously supported Fintech OS. The new capital will fuel the company’s growth strategy, including expanding AI capabilities, increasing its workforce, and entering new global markets.

DRUID AI was founded to transform business communication using conversational AI. The company’s platform enhances operational efficiency across industries such as healthcare, finance, and retail by integrating AI-driven virtual assistants into enterprise workflows. These assistants automate customer inquiries, streamline processes, and improve overall productivity.

Looking forward, the company plans to strengthen its global footprint, particularly in the US and Western Europe. A significant portion of the new funding will be allocated to research and development, focusing on advanced natural language processing and machine learning enhancements. The company also intends to introduce new industry-specific solutions tailored to emerging business challenges.

The conversational AI market is evolving rapidly, with competitors such as Amelia, Kore.ai, and UiPath pushing technological boundaries. DRUID AI differentiates itself through its deep integration with enterprise systems and a strong focus on user-centric design. Unlike generic chatbot providers, DRUID AI offers customised solutions that cater to specific business needs.

The company’s financial performance underscores its growing market demand. In 2024, DRUID AI reported an ARR of $20M, a notable increase from $13M in 2023. With an expanding client base that includes Georgia Southern University, Texas Children’s Hospital, and White Castle, DRUID AI continues to demonstrate its scalability and effectiveness across industries.

The finalising a Series C funding round is based on a report from Recursive Media.
