The Slovak platform ksebe, a leader in the field of psychological care, is expanding its operations to the Czech Republic.

After three years on the market, more than 56,000 mediated sessions and cooperation with 150 psychologists, ksebe is expanding and taking over the Czech platform Terap.io. Together they are creating Terapio by ksebe – a new, stronger solution for affordable psychological care in the Czech Republic.

“This is not just an expansion, but a strategic connection. Terap.io becomes part of ksebe and together we are bringing an improved model of psychological care to the Czech Republic – accessible, professional and adapted to today’s times,” explains Magdaléna Mihálová, co-founder and CMO of ksebe.

What does Terapio by ksebe bring?

The new platform takes psychological help in the Czech Republic to a higher level:

  • Personal meetings with psychologists – expansion of the offer to individual and couple therapies
  • Corporate benefits without bureaucracy – psychological support for employees
  • Trial sessions without obligations – the opportunity to try out therapy
  • A better system for both clients and psychologists – easier search and booking

“The Czech market has long been calling for a solution that offers not only online but also personal therapy. By joining forces with Terap.io, we bring what people really need – a wider selection of experts, more seating options and easier access to therapy,” adds Pavol Guričan, CEO and co-founder of ksebe.

Alarming numbers: Why does the Czech Republic need better access to psychologists?

  • 48% of Czechs have experienced emotional difficulties such as anxiety or depression in the past year.
  • Only 10% of people sought out a psychologist, although professional help could be a solution.
  • Psychological problems are one of the main causes of work incapacity in the EU.

“Affordable therapy is not a luxury, but a necessity. Terapio ksebe offers quick access to experts who are ready to help – be it individuals, couples or companies,” explains Hana Pucherová, a psychologist from Prague who works on the platform.

Psychology as a benefit for companies? Yes, and without unnecessary administration

Companies in the Czech Republic are increasingly investing in the mental health of their employees. Terapio would offer them a simple solution:

  • Individual psychological consultations for employees
  • Workshops and education on the topic of mental health
  • An efficient system without unnecessary paperwork

“Until now, business mainly dealt with physical health, but what about the psychological well-being of employees? Times are changing. More and more companies understand that a satisfied employee = better performance. And we give them a solution that works without administrative obstacles,” concludes Magdaléna Mihálová.
