The funding will support the company’s global expansion, with a particular focus on reaching Spanish-speaking communities in the United States and enhancing its AI-driven educational technologies.

Coding Giants, a Polish hybrid digital education platform for teaching coding skills to children and teens, has closed an €8.5 million investment round led by True Global Ventures (TGV). PortfoLion Capital Partners also participated in the funding.

Founded in 2017, Coding Giants is focused on hybrid coding education for students aged 6–19. Operating across 12 countries, the platform blends live sessions with digital learning materials, providing a flexible and high-quality experience tailored to various age groups. Since its inception, Coding Giants has taught nearly 200,000 students, with 15,000 active learners currently enrolled.

The platform equips young learners with essential digital skills, preparing them for a future increasingly shaped by technology. Highlighting the mission, Co-founder and CEO Radosław Kulesza stated: “Just as we learn about our physical environment in science classes, we must fully understand our digital surroundings. Our goal isn’t just to create future programmers but to help everyone adapt to technology effortlessly and safely.

Following success in its domestic market, the startupexpanded internationally, achieving results in Spain and Italy, where it demonstrated a fourfold growth in revenue year-over-year, according to Coding Giants. This latest investment will accelerate Coding Giants’ expansion into Germany and the Americas in 2025, followed by other international markets in subsequent years.

Coding Giants’ strong market position and unique approach to enriching human-to-human
interactions with top-notch technology, including AI, make them a unique player in the digital education space,” said Konrad Wawruch, Founding Partner at TGV, now joining the Supervisory Board of Coding Giants. “We’re excited to support their mission to prepare the next generation for the future, with their 5x year-to-year growth on international markets, 80% overall growth and amazing capital efficiency.

PortfoLion Capital Partners, which led a €3.5 million investment round in early 2023, reaffirmed its support in this round. Zsolt Mihály, Principal at PortfoLion, commented: “Coding Giants has demonstrated extraordinary growth and scalability. Their results in Poland, Spain, and Italy validate the potential for international success.

The company is also advancing its AI-powered Learning Management System (LMS), introducing an AI tutor that enhances the learning experience by providing real-time guidance to trainers and monitoring live sessions to improve student outcomes. Chief Revenue Officer Dawid Leśniakiewicz highlighted the innovation: “Our AI tutor will redefine how coding is taught, ensuring quality and accessibility on a global scale.
