Hungarian security startup Riptides has raised $3.3 million in pre-seed funding to launch its platform for secure non-human identity management. This marks one of the largest Pre-Seed rounds in Central and Eastern Europe ever, and Hungary’s biggest one to date.

Exaforce today announced $75 million in Series A funding led by marquee investors Khosla Ventures, Mayfield, and Thomvest Ventures to develop its Agentic SOC Platform that combines AI agents (called “Exabots”) with advanced data exploration to give enterprises a tenfold reduction in human-led SOC work, while dramatically improving security outcomes.

The investment vehicle of Rohlík founder Tomáš Čupr on Wednesday acquired a majority stake in startup Macromo in exchange for financing its further development. The move is part of Čupr’s plan to create a new longevity division, which also includes the pharmacy e-shop and the Pilulka chain, which he definitively took control of in March.

The research team of Dr. Kateřina Chládková from the Institute of Czech Language and Communication Theory of the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, in close cooperation with the Mooveez team led by Ing. Miroslav Pešta, is developing a unique method of natural language learning, which is now being implemented in the mobile application of the educational startup Mooveez. On Monday, April 7, 2025, both parties signed a collaborative research agreement.

The platform for the mediation of operational leasing Driveto is being sold. The company is being purchased from the investment group Miton, which was the founding investor of Driveto, by the internet entrepreneur and founder of Driveto František Peterka (in the opening photo) and the company tibiQ Holding SE, which is an established brand in the automotive environment. The new owners each acquired a 50 percent stake in Driveto.

QurieGen, a Nijmegen, the Netherlands-based cellular technology company, raised €2.2M in funding.
